Indigenous Use: Pleurisy root named its treatment of pleurisy, pneumonia and bronchial problems.
Other Uses: The root was pulverized and applied to cuts and wounds.
Preparation: To make tea, place one teaspoon of pleurisy root in a pan and cover with one cup of water. Boil for twenty minutes and strain. Take up to two cups a day, one teaspoon at a time.
