Indigenous Use: Slippery Elm aids all kinds of stomach problems including ulcers.
Other Uses: Traditionally used by Native Americans for sore throats.
Preparation: Place two tablespoons of powdered inner bark in to a cup of hot water. Let it steep for an hour and strain. Take two teaspoons an hour, but do not drink more than two cups a day.
