Indigenous Use: Tea used as an aphrodisiac.
Other Uses: A poultice or plant juices contain protein-digesting enzymes, exudates from leaves were used to treat warts.
Preparation: Make tea by pouring one cup of boiling water over two teaspoons of dried leaves. Steep for fifteen minutes, strain and drink.
Availability: Found in wet acid soil and bogs in Atlantic Canada and eastern U.S. Common (Herbal Supplier)
