Other Uses: Blackfoot chewed the root to help soothe toothache, sore throat and earache. Echinacea helps strengthen the immune system to fight infections, as it contains high content of minerals and vitamins. Preparation: To make tea by pouring one cup of boiling water over one teaspoon of granulated echinacea root. Steep for thirty minutes and strain. Take one tablespoon of tea up to six times a day.
