Indigenous Use: The dandelion, being rich in minerals and vitamins, has an abundance of uses for Native Americans.There is evidence today that it can help aid weight loss.
Other Uses: Also used for skin problems, heartburn, anemia, and constipation.
Preparation: Make dandelion tea by pouring two cups of water over two teaspoons of dandelion leaves. Steep for fifteen minutes. Drink up to two cups per day, a tablespoon at a time.
