Indigenous Use: The Algonquin, Cherokee, Delaware, amongst others used the root of Ginseng as a stimulant.
Other Uses: Also known to fight cancer, reduce cholesterol and reduce blood sugar-levels.
Preparation: To make Ginseng tea, cover a tea spoon of grated dried root with two cups of water and simmer for ten minutes. Strain and let it stand until cool.
