Innocence

Innocence is sublime but not in the world.
The elders seek virtue through innocence.

To maintain a sense of awe and wonder in adulthood is sublime, but ultimately induces pain. Therefore, elders seek innocence while remaining as sly as coyote. The elders say that coyote barked at the sun, and the sun ran away; so coyote sang to the moon, and the sun returned to listen.
